Topic 16: The 3He(α,γ)7Be reactions and its role in the solar neutrino fluxes and the primordial 7Li abundance.

The 3He(α,γ)7Be reaction plays a significant role in calculating an accurate solar neutrino flux and the primordial 7Li abundance. Recent
measurements of this reaction show an important energy dependence of the astrophysical S34  factor, especially above 1 MeV and
highlights the need to constrain theories in order to  obtain a precise extrapolated value for S34(0).

            Guideline

            1. Motivation: stelar scenarios, role of the reaction in the solar neutrino fluxes and the Big-Bang nucleosynthesis.

             2. Description of the experiment: accelerator, experimental setup.

             3. Discussion of the results and implications in observed abundances.
