Our colleagues in the Lab Irene Santalices and Ana Sara Cordeiro have just received two well-deserved awards.
Irene has been honored with the TRANS-INT EU Project Award to the best presentation, chosen among seven of the doctoral students and postdocs that on April 24, during the public session of the TRANS-INT Final Meeting, presented the main lessons and results achieved through their contribution to the project.
Ana Sara Cordeiro was also distinguished in the framework of the congress of young scientists celebrated by the Spanish-Portuguese Local Chapter of the Controlled Release Society on 23 April. A jury composed by Prof. David Brayden of University College Dublin, Prof. Caitriona O’Driscoll of University College Cork and Prof. Carmen Álvarez of the USC, selected the two best presentations among the 26 made in this congress. The winners were Ana Sara Cordeiro and Ainhoa González-Pujana (University of Basque Country). The prize consists of travel, accommodation and registration for the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Controlled Release Society, to be held in Boston in July 2017.
Congrats!
