The Fundación Tatiana has awarded Peregrina Quintela, professor of this research group, with the IX edition of the Premio Julio Peláez a Científicas con Liderazgo Cívico. This prize was created in 2016 to recognise pioneering women for their outstanding contributions to science in the fields of physics, chemistry or mathematics.

The prize will be awarded on 24 April 2025 at the Fundación Tatiana (Madrid).
