Daniel Paraje Ordás will carry out an industrial PhD project at AIMEN Technology Centre. The thesis will be supervised  by Patricia Barral in the framework of the project entitled Numerical methods for thermomechanical simulation in DED AM. The aim of this project is to develop a computationally efficient simulation tool to predict defects and distortion phenomena during the Additive Manufacturing process, guaranteeing the quality of the component from the design and engineering phase.
