Alfredo Bermúdez de Castro with the talk “Application of stochastic control to some energy management problems” was one of the plenary speakers at the 14th International Conference on Nonlineal Mathematics and Physics (NoLineal 2025) held in Santiago de Compostela from June 16 to 18.

The NoLineal conference series of conferences began in 1997 and has been held every two years since then. The aim is to provide a meeting point for senior and young researchers from different areas of nonlinear sciences, such as physics, mathematics, biology, economics and social sciences.

The conference was organised by CITMAga, and several members of our research group actively participated in it.  P. Quintela (Chair of the Scientific Committee), S. Busto (Member of the Organising and Scientific Committees) and M. E. Vázquez-Cendón (Member of the Organising Committee). Several PhD students,  J. López, I. Martínez and M. Picos, gave also oral talks.
