Carina Carbia has won the national award of degree, in Social Sciences, of the 2011-2012 academic year. 

The paper “Heavy drinking and alcohol-related injuries in college students” of which are authors Lucía Moure, Francisco Caamaño, Sonia Doallo, Pablo Juan Salvadores, Montserrat Corral, Socorro Rodríguez and Fernado Cadaveira have received the XXV Award of the Sociedad Española de Epidemiología for the best original article published in Gaceta Sanitaria in 2014. 

The 15th Congress of the European Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism (ESBRA), which will be held in Valencia, Spain, from September 12 to 15, 2015. The NECEA Research Group is going to participate with several contributions,

NECEA Research Group presents several contributions to the II Iberoamerican Congress on Epidemiology and Public Health (XXII Scientific Meeting of the Spanish Society of Epidemiology and X Congress of the Portuguese Association of Epidemiology) that will be held in Santiago de Compostela, from September 2 to 4, 2015.

The NECEA research group participates in this Meeting with two contributions related with its work about attention, memory and reward interaction, conducted by Dr. Sonia Doallo
