We are seeking a talented young PhD student in computational chemistry for materials science and catalysis.
Description
Research topic: computational simulation of porous materials for catalytic applications.
Research Center: CIQUS, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
Research Supervisor: Dr. Manuel A. Ortuño.
Starting Date and term: Between October and November 2021. 3 year duration.
Requirements

Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Materials Science, academic rank higher than 7.5 (over 10).

Master degree in Chemistry or Materials Science.

We seek candidates with initiative, creativity, and motivation to collaborate with other research groups.

Previous experience in computational chemistry (density functional theory) would be highly considered.
