WORKSHOP ON NANOMEDICINE

Campus Vida’s Research Centers organize in Santiago de Compostela the Workshop on Nanomedicine, on Monday 10th December.

This event, which will be attended by leading scholars, cover topics of special relevance in nanomedicine such as nanotheranostics, new biomaterials and biological behaviour, the development process of new nanomedicines and a discussion panel about the knowledge transfer processes in nanomedicine.

Our guest speakers will be Professors Joyce Wong (Chemical Engineering, Boston University), Tito Trindade (Universidade de Aveiro) and Mario Barbosa (Universidade de Porto-INEB).

They will be accompanied by five researchers from the Singular Center Network of University of Santiago de Compostela, three from CIQUS (José Luis Mascareñas, Eduardo Fernández Megía, Juan Granja) and two from CIMUS (Fernando Domíguez y María José Alonso).

The event will conclude with a panel discussion that will address the transfer and enhancement of knowledge in the field of nanomedicine, with the participation of Enrique Castellón (CEO and Founder Crossroad Biotech), Javier López (General Director Barrié Foundation), Javier García (CEO Omni Biotech Consulting), Tatiana López (CEO Nanogap) and Mabel Loza (Biofarma-USEF, USC).
