Summary
In recent years, with the arrival of large numbers of people from other countries, prejudices and stereotypes have been on the rise, making it very difficult for immigrants to adapt to society and achieve social wellbeing. Such prejudices and stereotypes, often instigated by the press or other channels, distort the vision of the native people in reference to the immigrant population, especially when it comes to social benefits. In this context, this qualitative research project focuses its efforts on studying the perception of the residents of a municipality in Galicia, more specifically in Oroso, on the social benefits received by immigrants. The data of this research are collected through an interview, in order to achieve a more in-depth and individual knowledge about the opinion that each resident has regarding this issue. The project is approached from the field of Social Work, providing the necessary knowledge for the elimination of such prejudices and preconceived ideas and to favor the reduction of social marginalization suffered by this group, in addition to emphasizing the importance of intervening from the prevention and promotion of their human rights.

Summary
Music, conceived as an artistic expression, has been a fundamental and unique element in many of the most significant societies in history, serving as a universal means of emotional, cultural, and social communication and acting as a catalyst for change in both individuals and communities. In recent decades, numerous scientific studies have begun to explore how music can affect various aspects of people’s lives. This narrative literature review aims to analyse the scientific literature regarding the influence of music in relation to Social Work with minors at risk of social exclusion, to explore the scientific development of this topic, as well as to investigate possible therapeutic options through music and its connection with the role of social workers. The results of this work show that music, when integrated into participatory methodologies, is an effective tool to enhance resilience, self-esteem, and the social inclusion of vulnerable minors, highlighting the importance of an interdisciplinary approach that combines musical intervention with professional support and institutional commitment.

Summary
Social imaginaries are collective constructions that reflect the ideas, values, beliefs, and practices shared by a society. They act as symbolic frameworks that give meaning to reality, influencing social relations, institutions, and culture. In the context of social work, where its mission is to improve individual and collective well-being through direct intervention and the promotion of social policies, social imaginaries are a fundamental tool for carrying out interventions that promote a more equitable and inclusive society. This qualitative research project aims to understand why negative social imaginaries about the A Abella neighborhood predominate among Lugo's young population. To this end, a qualitative methodology was used through semi-structured interviews with residents of the A Abella neighborhood and the city of Lugo to understand how social imaginaries impact the residents of the A Abella neighborhood.

Summary
This document presents a research design focused on the experiences and challenges involved in social work intervention with people with dual pathology. Dual pathology is defined as the comorbidity of a mental disorder and a substance use disorder, either simultaneously or throughout the life cycle. It is a complex clinical condition that requires comprehensive, specialized, and coordinated care. The main objective of this Final Degree Project is to propose a qualitative research project design aimed at analyzing the experiences and challenges of social work intervention with people with dual pathology in Galicia, from the perspective of both users and social work professionals. It is based on the need to make visible the specific difficulties faced by both professionals and users, and to identify good practices and areas for improvement. A qualitative, exploratory, descriptive, and explanatory study is proposed, using a methodological design based on qualitative techniques such as individual interviews and focus groups, carried out with users and professionals. The participants will be selected from the Galician Public Foundation for the Support of the Exercise of Legal Capacity (FUNGA), due to the author's close relationship with the institution after completing her internship there. It is estimated that the project will last approximately one year, including the design, preparation, fieldwork, data analysis, results writing, and dissemination.

Summary
Prostitution, since its origins, has been a subject of constant debate due to its clear ethical implications. According to Royal Spanish Academy (2001), it involves engaging in sexual relations with another person in exchange for money. This paradigm has existed in all societies since time immemorial and is overwhelmingly carried out by women and consumed by men. Few disciplines address this situation holistically and Social Work can be key in this crusade. The aim of this project is to study how prostitution has developed through the different periods and places in history, and the role women held in each of these. To achieve this, we will navigate the waters of Ancient History, pass through the Middle Ages, and arrive at more familiar shores such as those of the present day. The methodology employed will be a literature review, as the objective is to analyze relevant and pertinent literature related to the topic described, including and excluding works according to specific criteria that will be detailed later. As a result of studying the evolution of prostitution-and especially because of it-I have determined that the optimal political and social stance on the conception of this practice at all levels is abolitionism. Pleasure, desire, sex, consent, the relevance of what is consumed versus the consumption, will be the cornerstone of this project.

Summary
Policies on gender-based violence in rural areas are a social problem that, in many cases, remains hidden due to the specific characteristics of this environment. In the Concello de Outes, the implementation of gender policies faces several obstacles, such as cultural, social and organisational factors that hinder their effective implementation. The main purpose of this thesis is to examine how social services professionals perceive the difficulties that arise when implementing equality policies in rural areas. The proposed methodology will be qualitative, based on interviews and focus groups with professionals in the sector, seeking to identify the main barriers in the implementation of gender policies and the responses or strategies adopted to overcome them. This project will be developed over 8 months from February 2025 to September 2025 and will have different phases, in addition to the subsequent dissemination of the data in conferences, seminars, magazines, social networks and participation days within the city council.

Summary
Through a narrative bibliographic review, this Bachelor's Thesis primarily aims to thoroughly analyze the violence exerted towards women with functional diversity, a frequently overlooked issue. For this purpose, the review is based on the collection and analysis of 17 articles that address this problem from different perspectives. This study first seeks to identify the various manifestations and types of violence faced by women in this group, ranging from the most visible and recognized forms, such as physical abuse perpetrated by partners or family members, to the more normalized ones, such as structural violence. Additionally, it aims to identify the factors that increase their vulnerability, such as economic and care dependence or social isolation, as well as to examine the role played by intersectionality theory between the variables of gender and disability two factors that combine and interact, creating particular and heightened forms of exclusion and discrimination.

Summary
This work stems from the invisibilization of a phenomenon such as sexual violence against women with disabilities, which has largely been overlooked by society. Thus, through a narrative literature review, the scientific production was analyzed, seeking to deepen and address the reality of sexual violence dynamics, in order to better understand this issue. It is observed that these women face higher levels of sexual violence, where it clearly shows how their experiences are permeated by multiple forms of exclusion. Among these are barriers in various systems (education, health, and justice), as well as stereotypes and myths surrounding their sexuality, their bodies, and their infantilization, which together create a very complex situation to escape. The conclusion highlights the role of Social Work and its necessary intervention, aiming for comprehensive care, as well as the need to promote a change in society’s pejorative discourses towards the phenomenon of disability, without overlooking the dynamics of oppression they also suffer simply for being women.
