The USC offers places for the school year 2025-26 in the Nursery School Breogán (Escola Infantil Breogán-EIB), following the institutional commitment with social responsibility and work-life balance established in the III Strategic Plan of Equal Opportunities for Men and Women 2021-2024.

TIMETABLE
Breogán Nursery School is open regularly from 7:45am to 18:00pm, with the exceptions of the Instruction published annually by the Management, regarding holidays, vacations leaves of abscense and the working hours of administrative and services staff.
During the month of July, Christmas time and Easter the timetable is from 7:45 to 15:45.
The School is closed from the 1st of August to the 4th of September, both dates included, and during the week of Christmas, from 22 to 26 of December, and January 2nd.

Children who are resident in Galicia are entitled to a 100% subsidy for educational care, according to the institutional commitment to free education of the Consellería de Política Social, and it will be included in the monthly receipt.
People who are not from Galicia should pay the following.

Children can have access to the lunch or snack service on occasional days if they order it in advance and justify the need for this service for specific days. They will pay 5€ for each lunch and 2€ for each afternoon snack.

If you are a member of the university community and you are renewing your place with the same number of family members, you can submit the form online via the Breogán Nursery School website.
Documents to be submitted with the application form
Applications from newcomers must be acconpanied by the following documents:
- Certificate that the family resides in Galicia
- Certificate of the degree of disability and/or dependency of the children or members of the family unit, if applicable.
The applicant must provide all the documents necessary to justify the family, economic or social circumstances that may be taken into account to obtain a place.
Admitted persons must pay a deposit of 150€ between the 2nd and the 13th of June to reserve a place.
A link will be provided on this website for payment by credit or debit card. If you do not comply with this procedure, you give up the place granted.
In order to confirm the acceptance of the place, in addition to the payment of the deposit, a copy of the child’s immunisation record must be sent to the Student Support and Services Office (Servizo de Axudas e Servizo ao Alumnado), showing that the child has been vaccinated in accordance with the Galician Vaccination Schedule (Programa Galego de Vacinación).
The deposit is refunded twice a year, depending on the month in which the child starts school. In December for those starting in 2025 and in June for those starting in 2026. Applicants who do not take up the place will not be refunded.
The occupancy of a place at the Breogán Nursery School implies acceptance of the rules.
It is compulsory to complete the Galician calendar of children vaccination in order to get a place, so a copy of the immunisation card which shows that the child is vaccinated is required before starting at Breogán Nursery School.
All other documents must be presented before the child arrives at the school.
Acceptance of a place in another educational institution, public or private, means the end of the right to use the place in this school.
Failure to pay the fees, will result in the cancellation of the the service and also in the loss the right to a place in the next school term.
In addition to the applicants who do not meet the requirements, there are also the following exclusions:
- Those with discrepancies between declared and actual data in a previous call.
- Those who owe money or are in arrears for three months delaying payment without good reason.
- Three year old children in 2025.
- Those who do not submit all the requireddocuments once they have been allocated a place and before the first day of school.
