Travel

By air: The easiest way is to fly to Santiago de Compostela’s airport Rosalía de Castro, located at Lavacolla. Then, you can get the bus or a taxi.  Other airports close to the city: A Coruña and Vigo.

By train: There are daily direct long-distance trains and regional trains approximately every hour from Madrid, Barcelona and other cities in Spain. The Santiago de Compostela’s train station is at the outskirt of the city. To reach the city centre you can get a city bus or a taxi from the exit door of the station.

By bus: The new bus station of the city (so-called Intermodal) is located by the train station. The bus company Alsa and Monbus operates in Spain and abroad.
