The aim of the degrees is to provide students with general training, in one or more disciplines, aimed at preparing them to carry out professional activities.
The aim of the master's degree courses is for students to acquire advanced training of a specialised or multidisciplinary nature, either for academic or professional specialisation or to begin research work.
The USC has 55 PhD programmes: 11 in the area of knowledge of Arts and Humanities, 11 in the Science area, 15 in the Health Science area, 11 in the Social Science and Law area and 7 in the Engineering and Architecture area.
