Both centers get support from the European Commission through the H2020 Program 'European Training Networks' (ETN), an extremely competitive initiative whose success rate is below 10%.
Three new European research networks will increase international collaboration in R&D at CiTIUS and CiQUS and bring young foreign scientists with promising scientific careers, who will join the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) to carry out their doctoral theses in both Galician research centers. And so it has been officially communicated from the European Commission (EC) to those responsible of the only proposals in the USC that have passed the evaluation: NL4XAI and MENELAOS _NT (CiTIUS), and the HEATNMOF (CiQUS) projects.
