Since its foundation in 1962, the ECHC series have grown to become one of the major events in Europe in the field of heterocyclic chemistry
Next week, CiQUS Principal Investigator Fernando López will participate as a guest speaker in the 27th European Colloquium on Heterocyclic Chemistry (ECHC), which will take place in Amsterdam from July 3 to 6, 2016 and will cover major advances in Chemical Biology, heterocyclic synthetic methodologies and enabling technologies.
F. López will present on Tuesday the lecture Carbo- and Heterocycles via Metal-Catalyzed Cycloadditions, in which he will explain the main line of research of his group, focused on the development of new transition metal-catalyzed processes with a focus on enantioselective catalysis.
About the ECHC
The ECHC is an open meeting dealing where all aspects of heterocyclic chemistry will be presented by 24 world class speakers through many oral communications, as well as poster communications. The aim of the meeting is to present new results, stimulate interactions between academia and industry and create an atmosphere for establishing networks, useful also for young chemists.
