Polymers suffers degradation during their life-cycle affecting to their appearance and mechanical properties, such as strength and malleability. The autoxidation process that occurs due to the contact of the polymer to external conditions (temperature and light exposure) affects dramatically to the properties of the polymers.
The polymeric composite comprises the use of metal AQC in combination with a vinyl polymeric substrate in order to reduce the autoxidation process and reduce the degradation of polymer´s propierties.
