EURO-AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STUDIES

Our Association promotes publication of studies on World Development and has started its activities in year 2001 by the founder President Professor Maria-Carmen Guisan (University of Santiago de Compostela, USC, Spain), with the collaboration of several members of the Econometrics Team and other economists from several countries. We offer many interesting and free downloadable publications on quantitative studies and international development.
Period 2001-2024:. We have published 2 international academic journals (AEID (focused on World development, in English), and RSES (focused on international studies of regional and sectoral development, with articles in English or Spanish)) with great academic success and many readers at Ideas.Repec, SSRN, Scopus of Elsevier and other prestigious indexes of economics research. We have published also 100 articles in the journal EEDI (international journal in Spanish with special focus on Latin America) for the period 2001-2010, and 100 articles of the the journal IJAEQS (with main focus on econometric methods applied to development studies, in English) for the period 2004-2009.

We have dedicated a lot of volunteer and unpaid overwork to the publication of hundreds of interesting articles by authors from all over the World, and are sorry that, due to the lack of institutional support from Spanish and European institutions, we cannot increase the Editorial team and continue publication after year 2024,
