                  Editor´s Message to authors and readers, 20^th March of 2024:

1) Final reception 20^th March. For 2001-2024, journal AEID focused on  cuantitative studies of international development has got great academic success (included in SCOPUS of Elsevier and other prestigious Indexes and among Top journals at Ideas.Repec by total downloads and downloads per item). Through that period the number of received articles has grown each year, implying an increasing amount of editorial task, and we cannot continue reviewing due to the lack of financial support from institutions (in order to pay administrative staff and editorial assistans) and thus we must stop the reception of new articles since 21^st March of 2024.

2) Accepted Articles for year 2024: Articles accepted for Volume 24-1are already included in the Index below, with links to their pdf version. Articles accepted for publication in the second semester will start to appear  in the Index below around 30^th of March and the pdf version will start to appear on May of 2024. The rules for publication for the period 2021-2024 appear at Rules and the Editorial Board here ((Board of AEID).

3)  Articles and reports are free available, at the Journal Website, Ideas.Repec, Dialnet and other Websites. Dialnet includes an Index of AEID authors from all over the World. We hope that many authors and researchers will continue reading and citing, for several years, interesting articles published in the journals, addressed to foster economic development, peace and quality of life, in many areas as of the World.  In our Blog on World Development in English and our Blog on international development in Spanish we announce interesting reports published in our E-books, E-chapters and other publications.

4) Notes on the history of journal AEID. An article by Guisan(2024) is scheduled to appear AEID 24-2. showing our gratitude to the Honorary President of our Association, Professor Lawrence R. Klein (Nobel Prize of Economics), and to ther distinguishe researchers who have supported our journal as  members of the Editorial Board, authors, readers or referees and from the selected academic indexes.
