The University Participation and Integration Service establishes and coordinates the mechanisms of the USC to favour the design and provision of social responsibility projects linked to social participation and volunteer activities and university inclusion projects.
Lines of action
The International Volunteering, Participation and Cooperation Area coordinates the direct action of the university community involved in the volunteering actions in an active way and promotes participation in projects with volunteers and social participation, to be recognised academically. It also collaborates in the design of Service Learning projects (ApS) that, from the point of view of educational innovation, favour the acquisition of skills and abilities that complement the academic education of students.
The University Integration Area promotes the design of activities that favour the normalisation of the academic, cultural, sporting and social life of people with disabilities who form part of our university community.
