The expository and interactive teaching will be fundamentally face-to-face. The tutorials may be partially carried out virtually.
EXPOSITIVE TEACHING: the teaching staff will explain the theoretical-practical concepts of the contents.
INTERACTIVE TEACHING: the contents of the subject presented in the expository teaching part will be reinforced and expanded through discussion of clinical cases, preparation of care plans, simulation techniques, training in techniques and procedures, and innovation projects in Learning-Service (Aps ). You will be able to count on the punctual collaboration of invited clinical professionals specialized in contents of interest.
1. The teaching of this degree is face-to-face, being compulsory to attend classes, both expository and interactive. In case of absence due to force majeure, it will be duly justified. Class attendance is a mandatory requirement to pass the subject or to take the exams. Prior to the realization of the tests, a list of students who meet this requirement will be published in order to be able to take the exams. The attendance, according to the type of teaching, is established as follows:
- Lectures: 60%
- Interactive classes:
Seminars: 70%
Labs: 80%
Tutoring: 100%
Assessment tests: 100%
2. In order for an absence to be considered justified, a document duly accrediting the cause of the absence must be presented to the professor responsible for the subject (within a maximum period of 5 working days after the cause that prevented attendance has ended). When the absence is due to a scheduled activity (for example, a medical appointment) the student must communicate it with sufficient time in advance to the professor responsible to try to recover the absence through an alternative session (for example, with another seminar/laboratory group).
3. Exemption from teaching will be applied in cases determined by the center.
4. The manipulation or intentional falsification of the attendance control systems will determine the consideration of non-attendance to the activity and will be communicated to the Reitoría for the start of the disciplinary actions that may correspond.
5. To pass the subject it will be necessary to pass both the expository teaching and the interactive teaching. In order to pass the interactive teaching it is necessary to carry out all the proposed activities, as well as to reach, at least, 50% of the maximum score of all of them.
6. The student's attitude, interest, participation, teamwork, behavior and respect towards the teacher and the rest of the classmates, as well as the fulfillment of schedules will be valued.
7. When the student does not show up for the final written test, he/she will be considered as not presented.
8. In the test of the 2nd opportunity the continuous evaluation of the interactive teaching will be maintained.
9. For the cases of fraudulent performance of exercises or tests, the “Normativa de avaliación do rendemento académico dos estudantes e de revisión de cualificacións” will be applied.
The final grade of the subject will be divided as follows:
- Theoretical exam: The weighted value is 60% and will consist of an objective written test.
- Continuous assessment: the weighted value is 40%. This value corresponds to the sum of the qualifications achieved in the different tasks that will be proposed during the course, which may include written tests. The number of tasks, the value of each one of them and the correction criteria will be specified throughout the course with sufficient advance notice and will be visible through the interactive platforms for teaching. The delivery periods for each assignment will be communicated throughout the academic activity with sufficient advance notice. No assignment will be collected if it is not submitted through the indicated means, within the indicated deadline and in the required format.
The following study times are established:
- Lectures: 18 hours
- Interactive seminar classes: 12 hours
- Interactive laboratory classes: 6 hours
- Tutorials: 2.3 hours
- Independent student work: 76.5 hours
Management of the recommended bibliography for the study of the topics.
