The course will take place in the second semester. The sessions will be of two types: expository (13.5 hours) and interactive (18 hours).
The first will be of a more theoretical nature and will consist of the presentation of the contents by the teaching staff and the active participation of the students through questions related to the content of each of them.
The interactive classes will be practical and will consist of the discussion of readings, practical cases and reflections contributed by the students:
Resources of the teaching-learning process
Power-point presentations.
Material prepared by the teaching staff that will be provided to students through the Virtual Campus.
Bibliographic references of a technical-professional nature.
Institutional, business and professional websites.
Periodicals, reports and statistics that will be provided on the Virtual Campus.
The assessment of learning must include both the process and the result obtained. The student's performance in the subject studied depends, among others, on the combination of two factors: the effort made and the student's own ability. The exam evaluates the result obtained, but does not allow the learning process to be accurately evaluated. This process, through ECTS credits, is part of a continuous assessment that must contribute decisively to stimulating students to follow the process and get involved
more in his own training.
The evaluation will be carried out through three joint and complementary actions: continuous evaluation, final theoretical-practical test and individual compulsory work.
The first will be developed with the periodic assessment of the interactive ones, with public exhibitions and active participation in both theoretical classrooms and seminars, reaching a weight in the final assessment of up to 20%:
Flipped classroom for case studies of a cultural heritage management project.
The final test, which will be theoretical and practical, will have a weight of 40% of the final assessment. In this test, a grade greater than 1 out of 4 must be achieved. This test will consist of a multiple-choice exam to be developed through the virtual classroom in person with the following characteristics: 40 questions, sequential navigation, 1 attempt, 90 minutes long.
Individual final project of 8,000 words (approx. 15 pages, times new roman 12, line spacing 1.5), 40% of the grade. In this test, a grade greater than 1 out of 4 must be achieved.
In the event that a student is unable to meet the requirements established for continuous assessment on the occasion of May, after justification of the reasons that prevent it, the specific procedure will be established through which to cover that part of the
final qualification through the materials, work and readings refereed by the teaching staff.
These materials must be delivered in due time for evaluation in the virtual classroom, five days before the date set for the exam.
This same procedure will be applied to those students who could not comply with the requirements established for continuous assessment in the July call, always with prior justification of the reasons that prevent it. In this case, these materials will be delivered on the day and time on which the exam of said call for the subject was set.
Attendance:
In accordance with the Regulations for Class Attendance in Official Bachelor's and Master's Degree Courses at the University of Santiago de Compostela, (CG do 25/11/2024), class attendance will be perceptive to pass the subject and to take the exam. To be entitled to the exam, students must have a percentage of 75% of attendance in the programmed teaching activities, both in the exhibition sessions (6) and in the interactive and field practices (7). Before the final test, a list of students who meet this requirement to be able to take the exam will be published.
Dispenses:
Students who are granted exemption from class attendance (Class Attendance Regulations in official bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Santiago de Compostela, (DG do 25/11/2024), will be evaluated with a specific final exam that will account for 100% of the grade.
Fraudulent performance of exercises or tests:
In cases of fraudulent completion of exercises or tests, the provisions of the Regulations on the evaluation of students' academic performance and the review of qualifications will apply.
