Master Thesis will cover the realization by the student of a project or study to apply the knowledge acquired during the master classes. Master work will be oriented to the application of the general competencies associated to the title.
This work could be realized with in the different laboratories associated to the master who will offer the possibility to do the work. Alternatively the students could do a theoretical work based on the subjects of the master proposed by the teachers.
Get to know the structure of a research center
Get to know the experimental hypothesis that lead to the investigation project where the student is integrated
Get to know the methods to the development of the work
Develop the skills necessaries to the development of the work
Results interpretation
Writing and presentation of the work
Original articles from databases and specific books on the subjects needed to develop the work
Ability to apply appropriate techniques to solve a problem in biomedicine, and to follow an experimental protocol independently. Acquire practical skills in a laboratory of Biomedicine in the context of group work. Bringing a neat and accessible record of the work done in the laboratory. Power public speaking and defending communicating experimental results and / or proposals.
Meetings to discuss the project's goals
Meetings to evaluate the performance of the experimental work or bibliographic searches
Meetings to guide work writing
Meetings to discuss the corrections of the work and the preparation of the exhibition
The director of the student can inform to the examiners about:
- The hours that the student engaged in the performance of work
- Involvement of students in the project
- Personal contributions of the student to the development and interpretation of experimental results
- Student autonomy to write the work and when doing literature searches
The examiners will evaluate the writeen document, the presentation and disccussion of the work and take into account to the final score the director reports
