- Understand the mechanisms by which diseases can lead to a life-threatening situation.- Understand the care and management of the pathology in special units.- Develop activities for the assessment, care, and evaluation of the individuals he/she attends to in specific states, life stages, and special risk situations, applying the appropriate procedures at each moment.
-Practical training and clinical sessions: The student in the collaborating entities acquires and applies knowledge and skills that complement their academic training for the exercise of professional activities.
-Preparation of the Final Report of the practical training. Teaching methodology useful for assessing the ability to synthesize and prioritize all the activities carried out.

ATTENDANCE TO CLASS:
The Governing Council approved the Regulation of class attendance in the official undergraduate and master's programs of the University of Santiago de Compostela, in the Governing Council dated November 25, 2024.
The USC is a face-to-face university, so the attendance requirements mentioned earlier are mandatory. In cases outlined in the Faculty regulations, students may request an official exemption from classes. In cases where attendance exemptions are allowed, with their specific circumstances, the rules established in Instruction No. 1/2017 from the General Secretariat of USC will be taken into account.
