The main goal of this school is to deliver a cross-disciplinary learning approach and condensed overview in the field of ionic liquids with emphasis on State of the Art, R&D methodologies, functionalities and applications. The lectures should be problem-solving oriented emphasizing case studies of relevance to properties, characteristics of the ionic liquids and are specially geared towards novice scientists in the ILs field.

During EUCHEM 2016
As part of the upcoming "26th EUCHEM Conference on Molten Salt and Ionic Liquids" a COST workshop will take place on Friday, July 8th. Our short-term scientific mission students will present their results and there will be an update/news from each working group. These talks will be accompanied by plenary lectures from Robin D. Rogers and Rasmus Fehrmann. In the afternoon, a Management committee meeting will take place. The program of the COST day can be seen here.

Liquid/liquid extraction by use of Ionic Liquids
24/26 April, 2014, Strasbourg, France.
This Workshop aims to provide a forum to discuss the state-of-the art of extraction modes by use of Ionic Liquids, concerning either metallic entities, organic compounds or biological moieties. Lectures will be given by the most prominent European scientists of the field.
Young researchers (students, PhD, PostDocs etc.) are welcome.
