Johan de Requeixo is one of the most unknown authors of our medieval lyrical poetry. Their social condition as a jongleur and the little preserved corpus causes that this singular person is forgotten. Due to our curricular speciality, we make a literary dissemination, completed with the philological rigour, where we approximate to minimum biographic information of the author which is the reaching of the researchers. In addition, we analyze from the thematic view to the formal point of view his texts, classifying them into the generic typology to which they belong to, explaining their singularities and differences. All the known texts of this jongleur should be included in the cantigas de romaría, a textual typology that are included into the cantigas de amigo and whose distinctive characteristic is the mention to a sanctuary. In the corpus of our author this temple is the Faro chapel, where the loving meeting of the protagonists of the cantigas takes place.
