The TFM will consist in the elaboration of a memory related to some advanced aspect of the Nuclear and Particle Physics, Matter Physics, Light and Radiation Physics or Fundamental Physics, with a view to its later public defense before a court appointed for that purpose.
CONTENTS
The report cited in the previous section should deal with some aspect related to any of the specialties of the Master, among which could be cited, without pretense of completeness, the following:
a) Nuclear and Particle Physics:
· Study of the fundamental constituents of the subject.
· Standard model of fundamental interactions and their possible extensions.
· Management of the main experimental and computational techniques of Nuclear and Particle Physics.

b) Matter Physics
· Structure of the subject and its characterization: theory and experimental techniques.
· Analysis of the states of matter.
· Phase transitions
· Systems physics at the nanoscale.
· Structure and electronic properties.
· Surface physics.
c) Physics of Light and Radiation:
· Generation and physical characterization of classical and quantum states of light and electromagnetic radiation.
· Propagation and linear and non-linear interaction of light with matter and material structures in the spatial and temporal domains.

BASIC AND GENERAL
CG01 - Acquire the ability to carry out research projects as a team.
CG02 - Ter ability to analyze yourself.
CG03 - Acquire the ability to write texts, articles or scientific reports according to publication standards.
CG04 - Familiarize yourself with different modalities used for dissemination of results and dissemination of knowledge in scientific meetings.
CG05 - Apply coñecementos to solve complex problems.
CB6 - Possess and understand concepts that provide a basis or opportunity to be an orixinais not develop and / or application of ideas, in a research context.
CB7 - That the students can apply the acquired knowledge to their problem solving capacity in contours nova or pouco connoisseurs within larger (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their study area.
CB8 - That sex workers are capable of integrating ideas and face the complexity of formulating points of reference based on information that, although incomplete or limited, includes reflections on social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of two concepts and principles.
CB9 - That the students learn to communicate their conclusions and the latest ideas and reasons that sustain specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear way and with ambiguities.
CB10 - That the students post learning skills that allow them to continue studying in a way that will be largely self-directed or self-directed.
TRANSVERSALS
CT01 - Capacidade to interpret texts, documentation, reports and academic articles in English, scientific language par excellence.
CT02 - Unwrap capacity for responsible decision making in complex situations and / or responsible
SPECIFIC
CE01 - Cognize the operational and linguistic programming systems relevant to physics.
CE02 - Solve algebraic problems, solving equations and optimization by numerical methods.
CE03 - Model and simulate complex physical phenomena by computer.
CE04 - Manexar computer applications of symbolic calculation.
CE05 - Acquire an advanced training oriented to research and academic specialization, which will allow you to acquire the necessary knowledge to access a PhD.
CE07 - Acquire training for the use of computational ferramentas principais e manexo das principais tecnical techniques of Nuclear and Particle Physics.
CE08 - Acquire a deep constellation of the structure of non-renewable matter of enerxies and its characterization.

CE14 - Be able to perform or essential on a process or situation and establish a work model, as well as perform the approximations required to reduce or solve a manageable level. It will demonstrate critical thinking to build physical models.
It is not possible to establish a valid general methodology for all the TFM that will be developed.
The specific methodology of each work will be indicated according to different work proposals approved by the corresponding commission or the proposals presented by the students. For example
Approach and resolution of problems / practical cases
Performing computer programs, experiments, and other laboratory work
Solving problems individually or in groups
Public defense in front of an evaluation committee designated by the Master in Physics Commission
Interactive teaching (seminar and / or laboratory) 5.5h
Individual tutoring of students 14h
Personal work of the students and other activities 280.5
The Master in Physics Commission is responsible for guaranteeing the correct development of all aspects related to this subject
