PhD Students
Santiago de Compostela was the place to hold the 18th National School of Molecular Materials (ENMM) from 20 to 24 March. CiQUS Principal Investigators Félix Freire, María Giménez, Diego Peña and Francisco Rivadulla have participated in its organisation.
Under the supervision of Prof. Massimo Lazzari, Dr. Daniela Reggio has recently defended her thesis entitled "Testing, validation and optimization of Surface-Enhanced Raman (SERS) sensors for the detection of small molecules in cultural heritage materials".
Empowering Women in Science has been a workshop to strength emotional intelligence and mental health.
Under the supervision of Prof. Eddy Sotelo, Ana Mallo Abreu has recently defended her thesis entitled "New Ligands and Pharmacological Tools for the Study of G Protein Protein-Coupled Receptors using Multicomponent Reactions".
Soraya Learte has defended her thesis under the supervision of Prof. José Luis Mascareñas.
María F. Navarro Poupard has recently defended her thesis entitled "Porous nanosystems for biological applications" under the supervision of Pfr. Pablo Taboada and Dr. Pablo Del Pino at CiQUS.
Zulema Fernández has defended her thesis entitled "Covalent and Supramolecular Helical Polymers: The Down of Matryoshka Materials" under the supervision of Prof. Félix Freire and Prof. Félix Quiñoá.
During the investigation, supramolecular strategies have been developed to promote the delivery of different types of molecules into the cellular interior.
Lucas Martínez has focused on the development of new synthetic methodologies to obtain products with high added value.
