Short Biosketch
Prof. Marco Bandini received his education in Bologna at the Department of Chemistry "G. Ciamcian" where he graduated in Chemistry (MS 1997) and later on PhD in Chemistry (2000). Upon some research experiences carried put abroad: University of North Caroline at Chapel Hill (USA) and University of York (UK) he went back to Bologna where since April 2019 he is Full Professor of Organic Chemistry. He is author in more than 130 publications, he held the position of Associate Editor of the journal Chinese Journal of Chemistry and currently he is the research delegate for the entire Department of Chemistry "G. Ciamician". Research interests deal with the development of sustainable metal, organo and nanostructurated catalytic systems in organic synthesis.
