5. Team work
6. Critical thinking
7. Self-learning
Scenario 1: adapted normality
The expository and interactive teaching will be fundamentally presential. Tutorials will be partially carried out in a virtual way
- EXHIBITIVE TEACHING: the theoretical contents of the different modules of the subject will be explained.
- INTERACTIVE TEACHING:
SEMINARS: aimed at reinforcing and applying the theoretical content in practice, through the active participation of the student, encouraging critical thinking. They will consist, among other activities, of the analysis and discussion of specific topics, some of which can be done through group participation.
LABORATORIES: practice in a simulation classroom for the acquisition of skills and abilities in early care in situations of vital risk.
Evaluation
Scenario 1: adapted normality
The evaluation will be carried out continuously and comprehensively using the following criteria and tools:
THEORETICAL TEACHING:
- Assistance at classes is compulsory.
- Mastery of the theoretical knowledge of the subject will be evaluated by means of objective tests.
- It will have a value in the final note of 60%.
INTERACTIVE TEACHING:
SEMINARS:
- assistance at the seminars is compulsory.
- It will be evaluated:The structure, quality of the content, bibliography used, presentation and exposition of the works proposed by the teacher on different aspects of the subject
- The active participation and attitude of the students
- The seminars will have a value in the final note of 20%.
LABORATORY:
- assitance at the laboratory is compulsory, with 90% attendance being essential to be able to pass the subject.
- It is necessary to carry out the previous activities of the virtual campus to access the laboratories.
- Compliance with timetables, attendance, participation, knowledge, attitude and skills will be valued.
- An evaluation of the contents will be carried out, whose value in the final mark will be 20%.
In general, continuous formative evaluation activities will be carried out as evaluation criteria combined with final tests. The total weight of the continuous evaluation will be 30% obtained from each of the parts (theoretical and interactive teaching).
-Individual study 27 hours.
-Lectures and recommended activities 24 hours.
- Personal work for simulation practices 19 hours.
-Total hours of personal work of the student 70 hours.
For the acquisition of the specific competences of this subject, it is recommended that the student has previously achieved those related to the subjects that make up the Basic Sciences Module of this Degree and those of the Fundamentals of Nursing subject.
Regular attendance at class sessions that ensures the student's orientation in their training by teachers and the necessary guidance to address the activities.
To access the virtual classroom of the subject, you must enter the following address on the Internet:
http://www.usc.es/campusvirtual
- You need your RAI data (network of computer rooms). If you do not have this information, you must request it in the center's computer room.
- In the Interactive classes, the participation of the students is mandatory and it will therefore be necessary to prepare the contents of the program that will be developed in them.
Contingency plan
Teaching methodology
Scenario 2: Distance
There will be a coexistence between classroom and virtual teaching pending the definition of formulas at the right time.
- EXHIBITIVE TEACHING: virtual teaching will be carried out with synchronous and asynchronous mechanisms (preferably).
- INTERACTIVE TEACHING:
The virtual campus will be used for the development of interactive classes and the participation and delivery of tasks is mandatory, the monitoring of students will be through this tool.
In addition, chat and/or forums will be used in the virtual campus or in the TEAMS tool during the development of the course.
SEMINARS: virtual teaching will be carried out with synchronous and asynchronous mechanisms (preferably) pending specific instructions at that time.
LABORATORIES: The teaching will be done in person, pending the instructions of the moment (student-teacher ratios, space, social distance, etc.)
The methodology used will be conditional on the instructions for teaching at that time. Similarly, the contents of the laboratories may vary according to the possible scenarios and the regulations in force at that time. An attempt will be made to respect the contents by adapting them to virtual activities.
Scenario 3: Installation clousure
In this situation, virtual teaching will be carried out with synchronous and asynchronous mechanisms (preferably).
INTERACTIVE AND EXPOSITORY TEACHING
