Known the most important mental health problems in different stages of the life cycle, providing comprehensive and effective care in the field of nursing .
Ability to communicate effectively (including the use of technology): with patients, families and social groups, including those with communication difficulties.
Ability to allow patients and their carers to express their concerns and interests, and can respond appropriately. Eg, emotional, social, psychological, spiritual or physical .
Ability to properly use the skills council (communication techniques to promote patient well being)
Ability to identify and address challenging behaviors .
Ability to recognize anxiety, stress and depression .
• Theoretical classes (expository).
Exhibition of the subject by the teacher, supported by audiovisual media, focusing mainly on those concepts that favor and facilitate their subsequent assimilation.
• Interactive activities.
To complete the learning, theoretical teaching seminars will be held related to the contents of the subject, which will be specified at the beginning of the academic activity.
The evaluation system will aim to assess the acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities that students will achieve throughout the TEACHING-LEARNING process.
The final grade of the subject will be broken down as follows:
A.- Theoretical exam.
The weighted value is between 40% and 70% and will consist of an objective exam, the characteristics of the exam, the weighted value and the requirements for passing it will be established on the first day of classes.
B- Continuous evaluation.
The weighted value is between 30% and 60% corresponds to the sum of the gains acquired in the different tasks that will be proposed during the course. The number of tasks, the value of each one and the correction criteria will be specified throughout the teaching and will be visible through the interactive platforms for teaching.
The delivery periods for each task will be communicated throughout the academic activity well in advance. Any assignment that is not delivered through the indicated means (virtual campus, teams, etc.), within the indicated period (day and time) and in the required format (.pdf, .doc, etc.) will not be collected.
Attendance to both the expository and interactive classes, both face-to-face and online, is mandatory.
FINAL NOTES:
The final grade will be the sum of the tests obtained through the evaluation of the theoretical contents (objective test) and the conclusions of the continuous evaluation, as long as a minimum of 50% of the total score of each one has been obtained of the sections and in each of the tasks and activities proposed throughout the course.
For cases of fraudulent completion of exercises or tests, the provisions of the "Regulations for the evaluation of the academic performance of two students and the review of qualifications" will apply.
SECOND OPPORTUNITY:
In the case of not passing the test type test on the theoretical contents of the subject at the first opportunity, the student will have a second opportunity, with the same characteristics as the first. The activities of continuous evaluation not passed may be recovered as long as the lack of attendance has not been the object of not passing. The score for absences will not be recoverable in any way.
Students with exemption or waiver must contact the course coordinator at the beginning of the course in order to schedule the continuous assessment activities that will be mandatory to pass the subject.
Expository teaching: individual study-36 hours

Use of the recommended bibliography for the study of the topics.
Daily study facilitates learning.
The study of the theoretical contents will be necessary for the development of the seminars.
Search and elaboration of complementary information to the one exposed in the classroom. within the indicated period (day and time) and in the required format.
