1. To know the theoretical approaches that support the intervention in crisis and the trauma of the victims
2. Know the different crises that may have to face people throughout the life cycle
3. Identify the psychological repercussions of trauma
4. Identify the stages of crisis/trauma development, personal and contextual factors that influence their evolution and responses to trauma
5. Analyze the objectives and the role of professionals in crisis intervention

1. Introductory Aspects.
Historical perspective. Theoretical approach to crisis intervention. Conceptual clarifications. Types of crisis and trauma. Response model in traumatic situations.
2. The victims.
Types of victims. Reactions of victims. Psychological consequences postrauma. Factors mediating vulnerability and protection.
3. Procedure for action.
Roles and general functions of the team of psychologists. Overall evaluation of the event. Organization of the event.
4. Characteristics of the evaluation in crisis and trauma.
Identification of affected persons and family data sheet. Socio-familial evaluation. Assessment of immediate intervention needs and special situations. Individualized evaluation. Typical tests.
5. Types and levels of intervention.

BASIC AND GENERAL
CB10 - Students have the learning skills that allow them to continue studying in a way that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.
CG6 - To know in depth the different models of evaluation and intervention in the field of General Sanitary Psychology, as well as the techniques and procedures derived from them for the management of behavioral disorders and the psychological factors associated with health problems .
CG7 - To plan, carry out and, if necessary, supervise the process of psychological evaluation of human behavior and the psychological factors associated with health problems in order to establish their evaluation.
CG8 - To design, develop and, if necessary, supervise and evaluate plans and programs of psychological intervention, depending on the psychological evaluation and the variables of individual and social type that concur in each case.
CG9 - Demonstrate interpersonal communication and emotional management skills for effective interaction with patients, families and caregivers in problem identification, assessment, diagnosis communication, and psychological intervention and follow-up.

CT2 - Know how to handle sources of bibliographical and digital scientific documentation standardized at international level.

SPECIFIC
CE3 - Know how to select and apply the techniques and evaluation instruments that are most suitable for each case according to their characteristics and context.
CE5 - Know how to choose and apply the most appropriate psychological intervention techniques according to their purpose (prevention, rehabilitation, counseling, counseling, etc.).
CE6 - Know how to plan and develop a psychological intervention, setting pertinent and realistic objectives based on the characteristics of the problem and the context.
CE7 - Know how to follow a psychological intervention, in accordance with the established goals, to introduce, if necessary, changes in it during its development.
CE8 - Know how to provide feedback to the recipients in an appropriate and precise way in order to involve them in the different phases of the process of psychological evaluation and intervention.
- Exhibition method / Master class
The expository classes serve to introduce and guide the development of the different contents of the program. They are presented with the support of audiovisual media available in the classroom.
- Preparation of papers and reports
The works or the discussion sessions complement the theoretical contents and are made from texts, articles or videos presented to the student. They will be carried out individually or in small groups. Case studies will also be made for different cases of people in situations of crisis and trauma.
- As support for the classes, a virtual classroom will be available for all students in the USC Virtual Campus.
- Exam: it will consist of an objective test and / or short answer. It has a weight in the final grade of 60%.
- Other activities: the remaining 40% of the total grade will be obtained taking into account the attendance to classes, participation in them and the realization of exercises and works (class presentations, discussion sessions, practical cases, ...).
Assistance to face-to-face activities: 24h. (Master classes: 15h., Interactive classes: 8h., Tutorials in small groups: 1h.).
Non-presential work: 51 h. This should be distributed between study activities (6 pm), preparation of seminars (2 pm), preparation of papers and reports (7 pm).
The student should have, for a good use of this subject, with basic knowledge of Psychopathology and Psychological Treatments.
Plan de contingencia:
* Metodología de enseñanza: Dada la incerteza ocasionada por la situación sanitaria actual, parte de los contenidos podrán ser trabajados de manera autónoma por el/la estudiante, que será debidamente informado/a a través del Campus Virtual de la materia. En caso de requerirse docencia telemática (tanto expositiva como interactiva) podrán emplearse las herramientas Teams (para docencia síncrona) y el Campus Virtual (para docencia asíncrona). Las actividades llevadas a cabo a través del Campus Virtual serán objeto de seguimiento, realizando una programación de las entregas, controlando el nivel de participación del alumnado y otorgando una cualificación a las diferentes tareas que se planteen.
* Sistema de evaluación en escenarios 2 (docencia semipresencial) o 3 (docencia telemática): La ratio teoría/práctica en la nota final del alumno/a cambiará, si en escenario 1 la ratio era 60/40, en escenario 2 y 3 será 40/60.
- Evaluación de teoría: El examen final tendrá lugar de manera telemática por medio de la herramienta Cuestionario del Campus Virtual. Consistirá en una prueba objetiva de 30 ítems y dos opciones de respuesta (verdadero/falso). Se llevará a cabo de forma síncrona en la fecha que fije el Decanato (para los casos de realización fraudulenta de pruebas será de aplicación lo recogido en la "Normativa de avaliación do rendemento académico dos estudantes e de revisión de cualificacións"). Esta prueba objetiva tiene un peso en la nota final de un 40%.
- Evaluación de la parte interactiva: Las actividades de carácter práctico (exposiciones, trabajos cooperativos, sesiones de debate, informes de prácticas, casos prácticos) tendrán un peso de un 60% en caso de encontrarnos en los escenarios de docencia semipresencial o telemática (2 o 3). En estas circunstancias, las tareas interactivas realizadas previamente en escenario 1 (de forma presencial) tendrán el mismo peso que las tareas realizadas y entregadas por medio del Campus Virtual en escenarios 2 o 3.
