On June 21 (2011), we completed the relocation of our photophysics and femtosecond spectroscopy labs to the new Center for Research in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Materials (CIQUS). In the modern facilities of this Singular Research Center of the Santiago de Compostela University (International Campus of Excellence, Campus Vida), we have started to build a setup for femtosecond pump-supercontinuum probe spectroscopy. This setup will allow us to face new challenges in our investigation of ultrafast processes by measuring transient absorption with broadband detection and femtosecond time resolution.
