Expository teaching: presentation and explanation of topics.
- Interactive teaching seminars: analysis and resolution of clinical cases of the topics related in the program for this teaching.
- Laboratories: execution and tasks with simulators.
- In the virtual classroom: the presentations of the expository teaching and the clinical cases for seminars will be included.
The general evaluation system includes the examination test on the dates established in the official program along with the evaluation of seminars and laboratory, making a summation:
Examination of the contents of expository and interactive teaching: 80% on the final grade.
It will consist of a test type test with 80 questions and four possible answers, being only one valid, each negative answer will subtract 0.33, for the realization of it will count with 80 minutes. To overcome this part it is necessary to obtain 60%.
Failure to attend interactive teaching and laboratories will impede the passing of the subject.
During the seminars and laboratories a continuous evaluation will be carried out assessing the participation, abilities and skills of the student on the part of the teacher. This part will have a weight of 20% on the final grade, 10% for the seminars part and the other 10% for the laboratories. The NO attendance to the interactive teaching and laboratories will prevent the overcoming of the matter, the lack of attendance will compute negatively.
Attendance will be recorded and a minimum attendance will be required according to the USC rules: "The USC is a face-to-face university, so attendance to a minimum of 80% of the class sessions is mandatory."
To overcome the matter: it will be necessary to overcome all three parts independently.
In the extraordinary call, the same criteria will be followed.
The student will participate in the theoretical class, because as already mentioned, since the student knows the organization of blocks and topics in advance, he / she is encouraged to participate during the theoretical class by contributing questions related to the topic of interest or derived from the hospital practice.
In addition, the work carried out in clinical practices, the preparation of clinical cases for seminars, and face-to-face discussions are accounted for.
Recommendations for the study of the subject
Regular attendance to the expository classes
Obligatory presence in interactive classes and laboratories.
Use of face-to-face and virtual tutorials.
Visualization of the recommended videos in the theoretical classes.
Establish links between the theoretical information received in the theoretical classes and the observations and interventions made in the seminars.
Request collaboration and / or help from the teacher through tutorials.
Contingency plan
Adaptations corresponding to scenarios 2 and 3
Scenario 2. Distancing (partial restrictions on physical presence) Teaching implications
- Face-to-face teaching will coexist with virtual teaching based on the recommendations of the center
- When teaching is telematic in nature, it will be carried out synchronously and asynchronously (with preference for synchronous mechanisms)
- The programming of tutorials by telematic means will be prioritized
Teaching methodology
- The “remote” activities will be scheduled throughout the teaching period, combining individual tasks with collaborative work. The monitoring of the proposed activities, sending of materials and communication with the students of the matter will be carried out through the use of the institutional tools of the USC (Email, Virtual Campus and Microsoft Themes)
The activities will be centralized in the Virtual Campus of the USC performing functions of character:
- Technician (Instructions to students)
- Academic (Delivery of materials, clarify concepts, and provide feedback)
- Organizational (Calendar of activities, help and organization of group work and management of discussion forums)
- Counselor (Monitoring of student activity)
- Participation and monitoring of the activities proposed through the Virtual Campus is mandatory
- To guarantee the protection of personal data in "remote" activities, the systems defined at the institutional level will be used (Email, Virtual Campus and Microsoft Themes. Likewise, the materials used must comply with the regulations relating to property). intellectual and data protection
Scenario 3. Closure of the facilities Teaching implications
- Teaching and monitoring of the subject will be completely virtual in nature through synchronous and asynchronous mechanisms (with preference for synchronous mechanisms)
- The programming of the tutorials will be exclusively by telematic means

This schedule was prepared according to the indications of the "Continxence Plan for or development of teaching in the 2021-2022 course" approved at the ordinary session of the Government Council held on April 30, 2021
