1. provide students critical and rational knowledge of the culture and the artistic production of the Antiguo.2 world. Meet the formal and Visual languages of ancient civilizations, as well as various artistic techniques so you can better understand how these conditions and act in the final outcome of the work of arte.3. Specifically knowing the sources, trends, artists and the most important and representative of the world Antiguo.4 works. Know and manage of rigour and set specific language and appropriate terminology that belong to the different manifestations of the art Antiguo.5. Learn about the different approaches and different methodologies that allow the understanding of a work of art of the world Antiguo.6. Contribute to the cultural development of Galicia and Europe through proper valuation, interpretation and contextualization of the old heritage legacy that has.
I. MESOPOTAMIAN CULTURES. Geographical, religious and historical framework. Main features and development of the artistic manifestations of the Sumerians, akkadians, Babylonians, Assyrians, and Persians.
II. EGYPT. Contextualization and periodization of an "indigenous" culture. Connections between art, religion, and political regime. The tomb and temple as architectural paradigms. The plastic expression: regia, civil and religious statues, relief and the pintura.
III. GREECE. Concept of the classic, anthropocentric thinking and periodization. Greek architecture: General characteristics, the orders and the main architectural typologies development. Genesis and development of Greek sculpture. The ceramic as a vehicle for the expression Pictorica.
IV. ROME. Fonts, character and periodization. Materials, systems of construction and spatial conception. Architectural typologies. Historical relief and sculpture through the portrait. Systems of wall decoration and mosaic.

1. Develop the analytical and critical spirit of the student and their sensitivity to see and read a work of art of the antiguedad.
2. Use, sort and interpret the sources of the history of the art of the cultures of the antiguedad.
3. Analyzing the aesthetic values of the ancient world. The work of art, besides having its own intrinsic value, is an excellent way to understand and know to appreciate the antigua.
4 Western culture. Explain the features, functions and basic lines of art in its various manifestations throughout the historic passing as well as the causes of these features, incorporate the work of art in the contexts in which was conceived and connecting it with other forms of cultural expression.
5 develop methodologies. Entered in bibliographic work, preparation of statements on the question of a specific topic of ancient culture or analysis and interpretation of the documentary and literary sources of the moment to globally understand the artistica.
6 work. Purchase, know and use other historiographical techniques for knowledge and appreciation of the work of art antigua.
7. New knowledge about the ancient art to learn autonomously.
8 understand different formal and Visual languages, know the different artistic techniques used in ancient civilizations and assimilate the fundamentals and basic knowledge of the history of Universal art.
Teaching is divided into three frente:
1 - exhibition classes where teacher will explain the theoretical contents programa.
2-interactive classes in which students held the theoretical content of the subject-related practices (comments from photographs and drawings of architecture and urbanism, aerial views, virtual recreations, reviews of texts, criticism of exhibitions, etc.). There is place and funding will be held a practice of field to determine the syllabus of the subject-related.
3. personalized tutoring.
1. Assessment of the contents of the (theoretical) exhibition classes: test that will be 60% of the total note (6 points).
To do average of the different parts will be precise that each and every of them are approved. The one who does not manage to pass will have to appear to the examination of the second opportunity of the summons (July).
2. Evaluation of interactive lessons: Assistance and participation in the debates, seminars, practices proposed by teachers and delivered in writing within the set deadlines, and field practice. This part will be 40% of the total note (4 points).
It will be obligatory to approve this part to be able to do average with the note of the examination. The one who does not deliver the practices inside the fixed period will have to overcome the above mentioned practices by means of a few questions in the examination of the second opportunity of the summons (July).
This evaluation system will be employed for the first opportunity of the call (January) and the second chance of the call (July).
FACE-to-face student work: 50 h.32 h. expository teaching, 16 h. interactive teaching, 3 h. of personalized tutoring work staff of the student: 100 h-autonomous individual or group study: 50 h-recommended reading, activities of bibliographic research, writing reviews, and similar: 32 h-preparing oral presentations, discussions and the like in the classroom: 16 h.-other tasks proposed by professors : 3 h.
Study on the agenda and participation of the exhibition and interactive classes. Creation and exhibition practices required due supported documentary and bibliographic. Use of the tutorials to resolve problems and questions relating to the contents of the subject.
PLAN DE CONTINGENCIA
La metodología de la enseñanza se adaptará a los escenarios de docencia semipresencial y docencia no presencial, si fuera necesario:
A) Plan de contingencia escenario de distanciamiento con docencia semipresencial
B) Plan de contingencia escenario de cierre con docencia no presencial
Los CONTENIDOS de la materia serán iguales para todos los escenarios.
A) PLAN DE CONTINGENCIA ESCENARIO DE DISTANCIAMENTO: docencia semipresencial
Metodología:
Clases expositivas: la docencia será telemática y se empleará el Aula Virtual y Teams. La docencia se impartirá por métodos asíncronos –entrega de materiales en diversos formatos (vídeo, audio, powerpoint…) a través del aula virtual.
Para ello se utilizarán los siguientes canales: correo electrónico institucional, aula virtual de la USC y Teams, fundamentalmente
Clases interactivas: se impartirán en el aula, de modo presencial.
Sistema de evaluación:
1. EVALUACIÓN SOBRE LOS CONTENIDOS DE LAS CLASES EXPOSITIVAS (TEÓRICAS):
Prueba final telemática que se realizará a través de aula virtual. Supondrá el 60% de la nota total (6 puntos). Será obligatorio conseguir una nota mínima de 3 en esta proba final para poder sumar a nota de las clases interactivas. Quien no consiga esta nota mínima de 3 tendrá que presentarse a la prueba de segunda oportunidad de la convocatoria (xullo).
2. EVALUACIÓN DE LAS CLASES INTERACTIVAS:
Evaluación continua de la participación en los debates, seminarios, prácticas y trabajos propuestos por los profesores y entregados por escrito dentro de los plazos fijados. Esta parte supondrá o 40% da nota total (4 puntos). Será obligatorio haber conseguido una nota mínima de 2 en esta parte para poder hacer media con la nota del examen.
Quien no consiga esta nota mínima de 2 tendrá que responder a unas preguntas de dichas prácticas en una prueba telemática en la segunda oportunidad de la convocatoria (mes de julio).
Este sistema de evaluación será empleado tanto para a convocatoria de mayo como para la segunda oportunidad de la convocatoria (julio).
Para los casos de realización fraudulenta de ejercicios o pruebas será de aplicación lo recogido en la Normativa de evaluación del rendimiento académico de los estudiantes y de revisión de calificaciones
3. ALUMNOS CON DISPENSA OFICIAL DE ASISTENCIA:
El alumnado al que le sea concedida dispensa de asistencia a clase (segundo a Instrucción Nº 1/2017 de la Secretaría Xeral sobre la dispensa de asistencia a clase en determinadas circunstancias), se evaluará con una prueba final telemática específica que supondrá el 100% de la calificación.
Para los casos de realización fraudulenta de ejercicios o pruebas será de aplicación lo recogido en la Normativa de evaluación del rendimiento académico de los estudiantes y de revisión de calificaciones
B) PLAN DE CONTINGENCIA ESCENARIO DE CIERRE: docencia non presencial
