The student/to will be able of:
- Manage an own scientific methodology of the History gives Contemporary Art and use the tools historiográficas more suitable.
- Analyse and sintetizar the knowledges purchased.
- Capacity to read, analyse and interpret a work of art in the period object of study, incardinándola in the appropriate contexts in which gestó and connecting it with other forms of cultural expression.
- Involve in the defence and conservation of the cultural heritage.
- Purchase skills in the handle of the new technologies.
With the object to facilitate and racionalizar the teaching of the asignatura will use the following technical:
- Classes expositivas, in which, costing of the lesson magistral and having the support of images, that well can be through the power point, videos or CDs, will explain the distinct subjects that appear in the program.
- Interactive classes, in them the alumnado, in groups reduced, will realise works academically directed on subjects of the program; it will analyse appearances/act of representative art of the distinct artistic movements; asi as of texts, videos and will realise visits to exhibitions.

All this will allow him to the alumnado purchase the necessary knowledges to be able to realise an evaluation between the theoretical thought of the Contemporary Art and his formal expression.
The evaluation will govern by the stipulated in the Memory of the Degree of History, by what will consist of three parts:
- Proof written of the matter given in the classes expositivas (will consist of a practical part -analysis of images- and, if it saw timely, a theorist): 70 %
- Participation in the interactive classes (seminars and personal works): 30 %
Since the evaluation is continuous, the assistance to the classroom is compulsory, by what an absence reiterated, will suppose the impossibility that the student/to can evaluated having to attend to an examination in which it would go in the matter exposed so much in the classes expositivas as in the interactive.
Extraordinary announcement: the alumnado that have realised and approved the activities of Interactive Teaching will conserve him the qualification, if like this it wished it, and only will have to examine of the matter given in the classes expositivas. The one who did not realise it or suspended said teaching will be forced to the realisation of an examination in which it would go in the matter exposed so much in the classes expositivas as in the interactive, of the matter of these last will give information through the virtual classroom.
This last will govern also for the alumnado that had received to dispenses it of escolaridad.
Following the Instruction Nº 1/2017 of Secretaría Xeral, students who are exempt from attendance in certain situations will be evaluated with a specific final exam (100%). Exemption from attendance must be authorized in advance by the university.

They will program activities complementaris for a more complete development of the matter: visits to museums and temporary exhibitions, assistances to conferences, etc.
