- That students know and understand the functioning of basic psychosocial processes and their impact on behavior.
- Promote the acquisition of values of respect and equality, from the study of stereotypes and discrimination.
Will combine the following methodologies:
Theoretical sessions. They will emphasize the relevant content for each theoretical topic, with the support of existing technologies.
Interactive sessions. These activities will emphasize group work to encourage discussions on psychosocial issues and expand the knowledge that is exposed in the theoretical sessions. Skills in applying concepts relevant to the discipline will be verified, as well as the capacity for analysis and critical reflection.
Both the theoretical and interactive sessions will use different materials (audiovisual and written) to deepen the skills of approaching published psychosocial material and highlight the importance of context in shaping human behavior. Depending on the case, the information will be given on responses and replicas of classic social psychology experiments, followed by comments and relevant current results on these issues, and cases from everyday life where they are manifested.
Depending on the health situation, the methodology may undergo changes that allow it to be adapted to telematics or blended teaching scenarios (see comments).
Theoretical part:
There will be periodic evaluations (test type), and various tests in the classroom to check knowledge for each subject taught, as well as a final exam, on a date approved by the Faculty Board. It is required to pass this part of the evaluation. The note in this part will be 60% of the final grade of the student.
Interactive part:
A minimum attendance of 5 of the scheduled interactive sessions is required. The evaluation, which will mean 40% of the final grade, will be based on attendance at the sessions and the work carried out. They require both individual and group work.
Depending on the health situation, the methodology may undergo changes that allow it to be adapted to telematics or blended teaching scenarios (see comments).
The student must dedicate a total of 150 hours, of which 51 will be face-to-face, and 99 will be more personalized work.
Given the uncertainty caused by the current health situation, part of the content may be worked on autonomously by the student. Some of it may not be subject to evaluation, which will be duly informed through the virtual campus.
In case semi-attendance or full virtuality is necessary, the theoretical and practical contents will be taught at the same time assigned in person, but through Teams.
As in-person, there will be a continuous evaluation of the tasks proposed in the interactive sessions and the theoretical part tests.
If the tests cannot be carried out in person, they will be made electronically through the virtual campus and in an exam-type situation where the students must be connected to their camera through Teams. In cases of fraudulent performance of exercises or tests, the Regulations' provisions for the evaluation of student academic performance and review of grades will be applied depending on health circumstances.
