Introduction to the study of the political system and of the his institutional components . State and media: regulation and conflict. Study of the main contemporary ideologies (socialism, anarchism, liberalism and conservatism). Knowledge of the political actors: parties, groups of pressure, media Media and difusión of the contemporary social movements (ecoloxismo, nationalism, feminism, antiglobalization). Study of the extreme economic and social of the political performance. The main institutions of the three sectors in the democratic society. His performance and his influence in the journalism

- The Students must study the Readings proposed by the Teacher at the Beginning of the Course as Minimum Base to pass the Discipline.
-Presence Written Exam that will determine if the Student passes or does not pass the Discipline.
-The Definitive Mark will be the Sum of the Exam Qualification with the Voluntary Readings and the Participation of the Student in the Classes.
-The Ratio will be of 50% Exam, 40% tutorial Works and 10% Participation in Class.
- In the case of recovery will evaluate with examination in the case to have supendida the theoretical part or with works directed in the case to be east the element to recover.
- In the case of students dispensed to assist the class will have to realise an examination on the readings and materials of class, being necessary that previously these put in contact with the professor to look for the most adapted form to confront the asignatura.

En respuesta a la solicitud del Departamento de Ciencia Política y de la Administración de revisión de la programación de la materia___Instituciones políticas y movimientos sociales contemporáneos del Grado en Xornalismo, de cara a los posibles escenarios en la nueva normalidad del próximo curso académico 2020-2021, quiero constar en el apartado de Observaciones las siguientes cuestiones:
- Contenidos: inicialmente no se prevé la modificación de los contenidos, que se mantendrán tanto en la previsión del Escenario 2 como del Escenario 3 y que serán ajustados según la forma de docencia que se concrete en cada una de dichas situaciones.
- Bibliografía: de producirse un nuevo confinamiento, la bibliografía complementaria será facilitada por los docentes a través del Aula Virtual.
- Metodología de enseñanza: esta será reajustada en su momento, según la previsión de disponibilidad de aulas que establezca la Facultad para cada escenario. Si bien y de manera genérica se complementarán en el Escenario 2 las clases presenciales con la subida de material que permita tanto el seguimiento de los contenidos teóricos como prácticos de la materia. En el Escenario 3 se complementará la realización de clases telemáticas síncronas o asíncronas, según el volumen de alumnos matriculados, con la incorporación en el Aula Virtual de material que permita el seguimiento de los contenidos teórico-prácticos de la materia.
- Sistema de evaluación: de manera genérica, tanto en el Escenario 2 como en el Escenario 3, se fomentará el sistema de evaluación continua, y en consecuencia, la entrega periódica de trabajos que permitan su seguimiento. Así mismo y si las condiciones de realización lo permiten, se valorará en el Escenario 2 la realización de una prueba final examen síncrono/asíncrono.
