In the interactive sessions it is about the students applying the theoretical concepts exposed in the expository sessions. These sessions will be aimed at the resolution and debate of cases and practical exercises, reading of press news and watching educational videos to improve students' ability to recognize and define the problems that firms have to dealt with in the field of human resource management, and being able to make the most appropriate decisions, while facilitating interaction between students. Additionally, students must prepare a teamwork and present it orally. All of this is intended to stimulate cooperative work and develop argumentation and communication skills.
Depending on the scenario determined by the evolution of sanitary conditions, the sessions will be held as follows:
- Scenario 1: Face-to-face.
- Scenario 2: Face-to-face / virtual based on the guidelines established by each center.
- Scenario 3: Virtual through institutional platforms (Teams and virtual campus).
The sessions will take place at the time published by the center.
For the delivery of activities, a task will be enabled in the virtual classroom with the due date and time.
The teachers of each group will monitor the attendance of the students and their participation in the sessions, whether they are face-to-face or virtual.
In the tutorials, the teachers will guide the students and help to solve the doubts and problems that the students face in the learning process. Depending on the scenario determined by the evolution of sanitary conditions, the tutorials will be carried out as follows:
- Scenario 1: Face-to-face and / or virtual (synchronous through Teams or asynchronous through the virtual campus and / or email).

The tutorials will take place at the usual time published by the teachers.
.
The continuous evaluation will collect the grade derived from all the activities carried out by the students (active participation in the analysis of cases, debate and comment on readings, articles or news in the press, presentation and exhibition of works, etc.), as well as the subject review questionnaires. Continuous evaluation is the 50% of the grade that is distributed as follows:
Block 1: Equivalent to 30% of the grade and takes into account the work delivered and participation in the debates and activities proposed in both the interactive and expository classes (20%), as well as the final teamwork of the subject (10%). In order to present and defend the final work, a minimum attendance of 80% is required for the interactive sessions of the subject (face-to-face or virtual depending on the setting).
* Students who studied this subject and did not pass it in the immediately preceding course can request that their grade in block 1 be kept, through the mechanisms explained in the presentation of the subject and will also communicate through the virtual campus.
Block 2: Two review questionnaires that are equivalent to 20% of the grade. In each questionnaire a score between 0 and 1 point can be obtained.
The final content exam (compulsory) will account for the remaining 50% of the grade. Depending on the scenario determined by the evolution of sanitary conditions, the final test will be.
- Scenario 1: Final face-to-face test.
- Scenario 2 and 3: Final face-to-face or telematic test.
In order to add the continuous assessment mark (block 1 and block 2), students must obtain a minimum of 2 out of 5 in the final test. The added grade must be equal to or greater than 5 points out of 10 to pass the subject.
This evaluation system will be applied both at the first opportunity and in the recovery opportunity.Likewise, it will also be applied to students who repeat, with the exception of these, they can keep their grade from block 1 if they request it in due time and form.
In cases of fraudulent performance of exercises or tests, the provisions of the Regulations for the evaluation of student academic performance and the review of qualifications will apply.
Students who are granted a class attendance waiver (following Instruction No. 1/2017 of the General Secretariat on the waiver of class attendance in certain circumstances), will be evaluated with a specific final exam that will mean 100% of the grade. This exam will be face-to-face in scenario 1 and face-to-face or telematic in scenarios 2 and 3.
This is a 6 ECTS credit course (150 hours).
The total work is distributed in the following way:
– Presence time (expositive, interactive, tutoring and assessment): 60 hours.
- Students individual work 90 hours. The distribution of students' personal work is distributed as follows:

- Writing exercises, conclusions or other work: 20 hours.

Contingency plan
As stated in the program, the teaching methodology will be modified according to the scenarios determined by the evolution of sanitary conditions, in such a way that in scenario 2, the expository / interactive sessions will be carried out according to the guidelines of the center .In Scenario 3, all sessions will be virtual (combining synchronous and asynchronous).
