- Ability to use information and make critical revisions of the scientific literature.
- Ability to use different information resources.
- Working procedure of an investigation report.
- Ability to perform different stages of a research in Cognitive Neuroscience.
Attendance at the lessons (seminars, discusions sessions) and supervised activities (bibliographic search, critical revision, design of a research project).
Continuous assessment considering:
- Active attendance at theorical and discusión sessions.
- Preparation and public presentation of a review of the literature about a specific subject or a research project about Cognitive Neuroscience.
One hundred theorical hours will be necessary to pass this course: 30% will be of active attendance and the rest will be student´s personal or into group work.
It´s necessaty to know the biological basis of human behavior (Psychobiology basis –neurophysiology and neuroanatomy-, Physiological Psychology, Psychophysiology, Neuropsychology).
It´s advisable to study the others courses belonging to Psychobiology area.
This course deals with applied investigation in Cognitive Neuroscience, on the basis of. different psychofysiological and neuropsychological investigations developed in Santiago de Compostela University, The course deals with aging, alcoholism and brain damage, showing that the multidisciplinary approach is essential for the study of. Cognitive Neuroscience.
When the student learns the contents and skills of. this course, will make research´s proyects in the context of Cognitive Neuroscience.
PLAN OF CONTINGENCY - METHODOLOGY OF EDUCATION IN STAGES 2 And 3
In case that, by reason of the sanitary situation, establish restrictions to the face-to-face educational activity, contemplate the following adaptations in the methodology of education and in the system of evaluation.
With general character, for all the activities that develop in telematic format, the computer platforms to employ will be the Teams of Microsoft (for come it-communication) and the Virtual Campus of Moodle (for realisation and delivery of tasks and proofs of evaluation, and for communications by means of forums), all this always by means of the corporate user and without detriment of the use of the email (equally corporate) for simple and individual communication.
Methodology of education
Stage 2 (partial restriction).
EXPOSITIVE SESSIONS: Since the number of students foreseen is not upper to 10, will make according to the official calendar in the classroom assigned.
INTERACTIVE SESSIONS: they keep in the even time and distribution of groups. Depending on the practical that it treat , will keep in equal conditions, to be the case in a classroom of greater size, or will modify to avoid the parts that require of physical contact (i.e., placing of electrodes for psychophysiologic recordings). If the general indications of the organisation of this stage for the Faculty demanded it, some of the sessions could adapt the a format of teaching in remote (synchronous). This could comport the alteration of the planned order of the practices in function of the moment of entrance in force of this stage and of the relative forecasts to his length.
SESSIONS OF REVIEW/TUTORÍA IN GROUP: The same as in the stage 1.
AUTONOMOUS WORK OF THE/The STUDENT: The same as in the stage 1.
INDIVIDUAL TUTORSHIPS: The same as in the stage 1, will make preferably of telematic way.
SUPPORT OF THE MATTER Through TIC: to the contemplated in the stage 1, adds the use of the platform Teams for the sessions of class / tutorías in remote.
Stage 3 (total restriction of the presentiality).
EXPOSITIVE SESSIONS: The teaching will develop entirely in remote, of synchronous way and respecting the schedules of the Stage 1. The exhibition of contents in these classes wil focussed in the most essential appearances and/or complexes, and will complement with resolution of doubts and/or realisation of activities on the contained
INTERACTIVE SESSIONS: The no dependent practices of equipment specific of laboratory will make of remote way-synchronous. Those that depend on equipment will be substituted by activities (come them, resolution of problems, etc.) in remote.
SESSIONS OF REVIEW/TUTORSHIPS IN GROUP: they substitute by feedback on the activities delivered via CV through this same tool.
AUTONOMOUS WORK OF THE/THE STUDENT: us same have to in the stage 1.
