Selection system
Priority will be given to students of the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and the Double Degree, followed by those enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education, and finally to graduates in Early Childhood and Primary Education, in this order.
Objectives
Understand the regulatory and sociolinguistic framework of language normalization in Galicia within the educational context.Identify and analyze good practices for promoting Galician in early childhood education.
Develop didactic proposals and language normalization campaigns adapted to the specific context of the school.
Acquire professional skills to promote the use of Galician as a language of communication, learning, and socialization in the classroom.
Use practical resources and tools (including creative spaces such as the USC Polo Creativo) to design innovative language promotion interventions.

Evaluation
Assessment will be based on the following elements:
Final report: students will be required to prepare an individual or small group report proposing the design of a language promotion and normalization campaign for the Faculty of Education Sciences. The proposal may incorporate the use of the USC Polo Creativo space as a resource or support.
Attendance at in-person sessions: a minimum attendance of 80% at the scheduled sessions is required in order to pass the micro-credential.
Active participation: students' involvement and participation in practical activities, discussions, and tasks throughout the in-person sessions will be assessed.
Tutoring
Methodology: The micro-credential will be developed through an active and participatory methodology, combining: Lectures presenting theoretical and regulatory content related to language normalization and promotion. Analysis of practical cases and successful experiences in the educational field. Practical workshops for the development of materials and the design of proposals applied to early childhood education. Independent work focused on the preparation of the final report and the design of the promotion campaign. Use of USC facilities and resources, including the Polo Creativo, for the development of practical proposals. Language: The course will be taught entirely in Galician. Tutorials: Personalized guidance and supervision will be offered for independent work and the final report, through scheduled in-person tutorials.
