Professional qualification:
This qualification enables the exercise of the regulated professions of Nursery Education and Teacher in Primary Education.
This double degree is aimed at training professionals suitable for teaching at nursery level (0-6 years) and primary level (6-12 years).
Both degrees qualify for the practice of regulated professions (Teacher in nursery education and Teacher in primary education).
Nursery Teachers meet social needs of indisputable importance, especially when we accept the educational importance of the stage from 0-6 years, beyond merely watching over them. This is a section with very high educational potential given the significance of early life in the integral development of the person. For this decisive period it is necessary to have professional teachers with solid training, capable of responding to the educational challenges of the stage.
The Degree in Teaching Primary Education is designed to train professionals who know the curricular areas of Primary Education and the interdisciplinary relationship between them, who are able to design, plan and evaluate teaching and learning processes, both individually and in collaboration with other teaching and professional staff, to effectively tackle language learning situations in multicultural and multilingual contexts.
